Known for our quality and craftsmanship, APG & Co sources the best fabrics from Europe and around the world.As the HR Business Partner, you are the first point of contact for all HR and ER enquires from the field and store employees, liaising with the GM of Retail to ensure best practice and procedures are followed for all employee relations issues, WHS and Recruitment. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to;EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS - First point of contact for all employee queries. Provides advice to client group in relation to promotion, awards, remuneration, leave, termination and counselling/investigations/disciplinary of employees. Partner with stakeholders within the organisation to deliver on business objectives. Simplifies and clearly communicates statutory & legal changes in a timely manner to retail client group.WHS & WORKERS COMPENSATION - Act as the companies RTW Coordinator. Works with Line Manager on RTW programmes as required. Actively promotes healthy and safe work practices for retail. Perform incident investigations and manage workers compensation claims. Liaise with all third-party providers (insurers, rehab providers and doctors)RECRUITMENT - Prioritises recruitment needs regularly, manages and communicates with Regional Managers. Ensures all hiring managers follow company recruitment processREMUNERATION & PERFORMANCE REVIEWS - Assists the GM of Retail with the implementation & administration of retail annual Company Performance Appraisal & Salary Review process.ADMINISTRATION - Assist GM of Retail in the development, implementation and review of HR and WHS policies and procedures. Produces HR & Recruitment reports and HR metrics - analyses, communicates and takes action as requiredKPI's: Legislative & Award compliance, Time to fill rate, attrition rate, WC premiums and accurate dataLEARNING & DEVELOPMENT - Create Learning material in line with business requirements (WHS, Operations, Values). Deliver training material. Coach and support senior managers, knowledge sharing and developmentCOMPLIANCE – Abide by all Company Policies and Procedures.Skills & ExperienceRelevant HR qualifications3+ years in similar HR Business Partner role, preferably from within a Retail or Hospitality environmentStrong understating of the retail award, WHS, volume recruitment and dealing with ER issuesA keen attention to detail, common sense approach & a willingness to roll the sleeves upExcellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to work with all key stakeholders and management tiersStrong people skills and an ability to build affinity across the Head office and Retail teamsReturn To Work Coordinator CertificationAPG & Co CultureThe culture at APG & Co believes in one team, being passionate, clear and simple.
