This Retail Leadership opportunity plays a key role in working with their Retail Brand Manager to take full responsibility to drive our brands (Sportscraft & JAG) performance across multiple concession pads in Myer. You will do this through the key areas of sales, people management, visual merchandising/brand presentation, rostering and labour management and customer experience.
As a Concession Manager you will act as a brand ambassador for all our brands, uniting and inspiring your team to provide exceptional and personalised customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Driving sales and rankings across all brands and pads, constantly monitoring, tracking and responding
- Personally drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service to lead by example
- Work collaboratively with your team to ensure KPI’s and sales targets are met
- Commercial awareness of customer profile, product lines and competitor activity
- Use available data and reports to identify key insights and make informed decisions for the business and the customer
2. Establish strong working relationship and regular communication with Myer store and floor management teams
- Work collaboratively with other concessions to ensure the best customer experience
- Influence Myer store, floor and operations management relationships to ensure brands are prioritised and well respected by the entire Myer business
3. Leadership and team management
- Lead the team to deliver store operations excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities
- Attract, engage and retain talent, building team capability and strong succession planning for the success of your store and the Group
- Actively maintain a safe place to work for team members and everyone who visits our store with a focus on promoting wellbeing

4. Deliver exceptional customer experience through on brand teams & product knowledge
- Coach and provide regular feedback to your team on understanding our products and how to be customer led for the purpose of delivering an exceptional store experience
- Maintain an up to date level of product knowledge ensuring you share your passion and insights with your customers and your team
- Manage team grooming standards to brand expectations
- Understand the brand and business strategy and communicate to the team their part to play in delivering
- Prompt resolution on any customer queries and complaints
5. Ensure all pads are presented and merchandised in line with each brands standard
- Pads and product to be merchandised and styled according to brand guidelines and VM direction
- Aware of top sellers and manage stock levels
- Ensure promotional and tactical merchandising and ticketing is completed as per directives and on time for all brands
6. Operations, planning and administration
- Build and maintain an effective store roster, ensuring the roster is compliant and balances the needs of the customer and team
- Ensure all business communication is acted upon on time and effectively shared with the team
- Delivery of new business initiatives in a positive and efficient manner
- Stock control and management
- Loss prevention / theft awareness
- Compliance with APG & Co and Myer policies, procedures and processes
YOU
- Previous management experience within a retail environment
- Demonstrates a passion for fashion and retail with a professional personal presentation
Experience in driving store performance and the achievement of sales targets and KPI’s
Ability to coach and provide feedback to build individual and team capability
Stock management - Replenishing stock/visual merchandising
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
Experience managing the performance, productivity, training and development of a team
Ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters
Strong leadership skills in delivering an exceptional customer and team experience
Building strong relationships with stakeholders
Be representative of the brand, holding a professional stance and high emotional intelligence
Initiative with the ability to motivate and adapt to changing business requirements
