APG & Co is seeking a Design Assistant to collaborate and assist the Sportscraft womenswear design team to develop seasonally appropriate ranges in line with brand DNA, market direction, quality and fit requirements. Key Responsibilities Product Collaborate with design team to assist with developing product ranges in line with brand DNAAssist design team in completing all tasks in line with critical path deadlinesPreparing technical illustrations and fashion illustrations using Adobe illustrator, photoshop and in-designPreparing fabric and print specifications for developmentMaintaining style files and bills of materials using AP21 AdministrationAdministration and filing of approvals submissions, fabric swatches and trimsEnsure all aspects of the design development and production process within a specified area are completed in a timely and accurate mannerVisit stores and competitors on a regular basisCommunication with offshore development team to ensure Fit & QualityAttend fit meetings on a regular basis and administrate design changes through the appropriate channels and systems You - Minimum of 2 years study diploma or degree level fashion design- Previous industry experience of 1 year preferred- Work experience or internship within a fashion brand- Highly organised- Attention to detail- Excellent communicator â verbal and written- Interest in fashion- Skills in Adobe photoshop, illustrator, in design- Microsoft Office- Previous experience in AP21 or NICHE would be preferred but not essential Where do I sign?We offer lots of flexibility to keep your work/life balance healthy, 50% discount on products, sample sales, paid parental leave, a fun, fast-paced working environment, and excellent opportunities for growth and development.
