Group Head of Technology – 12 month contract

In this role, you will help spearhead technology initiatives alongside APG & Co’s business teams.You will oversee IT operations and infrastructure, service desk support, business improvement, digital initiatives (CRM, eCommerce) and data warehouse technologies. There are 3 teams reporting into this role: IT ops, IT Business Improvement and an in-house Online development team. In addition to this, you will manage relationships with critical technology partners to deliver vital growth and transformation projects.This will be a hands-on role with responsibilities in both the technical delivery and ongoing support/maintenance of APG & Co’s technology platforms. The values: We are a Collective, We Thrive on Change, We Play to Win, We are Built to Last.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Technology function to manage all aspects of IT service, security, solution delivery and transformation to the business.Ownership of IT capex and opex budgetsOwnership and delivery of all projects on the IT roadmap, with specific hands-on focus on the APG & Co eCommerce, CRM and data warehouse platforms.Manage external development agencies, technical service vendors and key technology partners (including Apparel 21, Salesforce) to ensure they understand APG & Co’s business objectives and support day to day BAU activities.Understand commercial and strategic objectives to advise and guide executive team on technology solutions, prioritisation of IT initiatives and support processes.Work alongside and support key business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure project delivers to meet their business needsPlan, manage and coordinate project activities across multiple teams/vendors to ensure the successful on-time delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Technology function to manage all aspects of IT service, security, solution delivery and transformation to the business.
  • Ownership of IT capex and opex budgets
