Known for its quality and craftsmanship, APG & Co sources the best fabrics from Europe and around the world.At APG & Co. we strive to inspire men and women with a range of clothing and accessories that epitomise authentic Australian style, while upholding the quality and craftsmanship that APG & Co. has built its reputation on!This exciting, 12-month maternity leave contract will accurately and efficiently manage stock through the planning cycle; accurately reporting and monthly forecasting stock and sales utilising the planning tools; and communicating results to the team. Responsibilities may include but not limited to; In conjunction with Buyer & Senior Merchandise Planner, develop the initial product strategy & option plans by category by month including all promotional activityIn season trading, review and recommend forward forecasts on sales, markdowns, stock, stock turn, margin, purchases and gross profit.Plan and manage seasonal OTB at category level, including weekly intake reconciliation using planning tools.Facilitate the weekly trading meetings by providing analysis and recommendations to achieve Sales, GP & Stock targetsMaintenance of stock cover in line with signed off KPI’s Improve sell through rates through accurate quantification, allocation, size curve analysis & store size profile Ensure impact of decisions on all other departments are considered and are communicated effectivelyWork closely with Logistics, Property & Retail regarding stock planning to ensure that we have the correct stock levels in stores and plan for new store openings. Oversee new store stock builds to meet opening requirements and communicate relevant information to all stakeholders Ensure self & team maintains absolute customer focus, delivering accurate work within agreed timelines Build effective relationships with key stakeholders including Retail Ops, Buying, Logistics & Finance.Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring and regular feedback to direct reportsLiaises with Senior Merchandise Planner, however able to lead meetings & maintain "Business As Usual", when SMP is absentThe ideal candidate for this role will possess the following key attributes:Advanced knowledge of Excel and PC skills5+ years in a planning functionKnowledge of planning/forecasting tools (preferably Maple Lake)High level of numeracy and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple tasksExperience in a similar role gained in the Retail SectorA team player that is keen to contribute to the business’s wider successAPG & Co CultureThe culture at APG & Co is believing in one team, being passionate, clear and simple.
