Drive merchandise planning and optimization for the SABA brand. The Role

  • Co-create seasonal merchandise strategy, budget, and KPIs with Buyer.
  • Develop range and option plans to meet financial targets.
  • Oversee in-season trading: forecasting, sales, stock levels, OTB, and GP.
  • Present monthly forecast analysis to brand leadership.
  • Execute markdown/discount plans to maximize exit GP.
  • Track essential line performance and adjust forecasts.
  • Review in- and post‑season results to refine future performance.
  • Balance replenishment between stores and warehouse per sales plan.
  • Set store grading strategies and model stock across locations.
  • Ensure data integrity within planning systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Retail, Product, Marketing, and Digital teams.
  • Coach and develop team members; support succession planning.

KPIs

  • Sales and gross profit vs. budget (including markdown mix)
  • Stock turn metrics and closing stock units
  • Terminal stock aligned with group policy
  • ≥ 95% in-stock rate for essential items

You

  • Expert in retail planning, inventory control, and forecasting.
  • Proficient Excel and AP21 (or equivalent tools).
  • Minimum 5 years in merchandise/planning roles within fashion retail.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Skilled at communicating complex data to diverse stakeholders.
