This 12 month maternity contract, reporting to Head of Product will see the successful candidate being responsible for executing and delivering product developed offshore that meets the designer intent, APG & Co’s high-quality standard, target margin and delivery.This role is across all product categories for Sportscraft womenswear. APG & CoA leader in the Australian fashion industry, APG & Co designs and manages Sportscraft, SABA and JAG. APG & Co values and expects authentic, courageous, driven team players. Key ResponsibilitiesSource/develop fabric/trims and product inspiration in line with the design vision & price targetsWork closely with design team on recommendations of qualities and vendors based on the design visionWork closely with the Technical team at development stage to ensure fabric meet our strict testing standardsWork hand-in-hand with Head of Development to ensure that the correct suppliers are selected in line with the company global sourcing strategiesResponsible for all product costings, finding solutions to ensure all product hits target margins yet remains within the design vision and our high quality standards.Maintain current supplier relationships and identify new suppliers which will help maximize margins and help facilitate growth for the brand, always focusing on win/win relationships for both parties.Daily communication with vendors to ensure all samples are accurate and received on timeAttend weekly WIP and update key stakeholders of any potential delays or risk to the product development and productionNegotiate costs with vendors to ensure margin requirements are met at style and category levelEnsuring all purchase orders are received and raised for factoriesFabric management of CMT ordersProduction management of all FOB & CMT orders; ensuring all orders are delivered on time in fullDaily PLM management   YouMust be highly detail oriented, organized, have the ability to set standards and execute, as well as have priority and follow through skills, ensuring deadlines are met and critical path is maintained.Be responsible with a make it happen attitudeBe able to make decisions under tight deadlinesHas a relevant background and/or qualifications in Design, Production, Textile or similarHas 5 years + of professional experience in similar role w/ production experienceIs experienced in dealing with offshore suppliers and factoriesHas a strong knowledge of the product cycle, product development and production timelinesClear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skillsAP21 experience preferred but not required   Where do I sign?This full-time role is based in our stunning head offices in Alexandria.
