Known for its quality and craftsmanship, APG & Co sources the best fabrics from Europe and around the world.We’re seeking a talented, Quality Technician / Pattern Maker with minimum 5 â 7 years’ experience in Womenswear with PLUS size being advantageous. Our Global quality assurance teams are fanatical about our product, ensuring the highest level of detail, fit and quality. Key responsibilities will include;Working with the design team to create garment technical packs, as well as experience in taking garments through the fit process, ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved in productionDealing with fabrications, with experience in assessing test resultsCommunicating with far east production either as a retailer or supplierInterpreting trends in returns reports and customer feedback to implement action plansManaging the critical path, production issues and knowledge of the AQL process. Skill & Experience;Knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of manufacturing procedures and product engineering plus a sound knowledge of garment specification, technical fit and gradingExperience in patternmaking to support with block development/updatesTechnical, with outstanding knowledge ideally with multi-product experienceExperience working with overseas suppliers plus the ability to communicate effectively across internal departments and external sourcesOrganized, with an excellent understanding of critical path and great time management skillsPersonable, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer literacy skills APG & Co.
