Service Desk Analyst

Working in the IT Servicedesk and Infrastructure team, you will assist in supporting all IT functions across APG & Co. Support Office and our retail network of 300+ stores.You will be responsible for managing and monitoring all IT requests, installing, configuring and maintaining desktop IT and supporting retail stores with IT POS hardware and software.APG & CoA leader in the Australian fashion industry, APG & Co designs and manages Sportscraft, SABA and JAG. Reporting to the ServiceDesk Team Leader, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:Logging all customer IT requests and problems (Stores and Head Office)Ensuring all customers are kept informed of the status of their IT requestIdentifying and learning appropriate software and hardware used and supported by APG&CoInstalling and connecting system hardware and softwareBeing on call 1 week out 3 (priority issues only)Configuring of retail store IT equipment for installationInstalling POS equipment into stores as requiredCoordination of IT vendors during new store setupEnsuring all documentation related to the network and desktop is kept up to dateDesktop IT supportYouTo be successful in this role you must be a self-starter who is proactive and adaptable. The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Service Desk Analyst. Reporting to the ServiceDesk Team Leader, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Logging all customer IT requests and problems (Stores and Head Office)
  • Ensuring all customers are kept informed of the status of their IT request
  • Identifying and learning appropriate software and hardware used and supported by APG&Co
  • Installing and connecting system hardware and software
  • Being on call 1 week out 3 (priority issues only)
  • Configuring of retail store IT equipment for installation
  • Installing POS equipment into stores as required
  • Coordination of IT vendors during new store setup
  • Ensuring all documentation related to the network and desktop is kept up to date
  • Desktop IT support

    • Microsoft desktop OS
    • Microsoft Office
    • IP Networking technology 
    • Ticket management software such as ServiceDesk Plus
    • Able to support a variety of IT platforms and environments
    • Microsoft Active directory Users & Computers administration
    • Office 365 administration

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary computing related qualifications 
  • IT qualifications (e.g. ITIL v3, MCP, MCSE) highly regarded 
  • POS and IT retail experience an advantage
