As our Web Designer, you will work within the Online team to create digital assets that are visually consistent with brand values and direction but also support the function and usability of our websites.We’ll be relying on your creative talents coupled with your technical skills in HTML/CSS to create an online experience that aligns with our brand style guidelines. You will be working alongside our Online trade team as well as our Development team to implement styling enhancements through all our websites using our eCommerce platform.To be considered successful you will have demonstrated experience as a Web Designer (or similar) with front end skills including HTML, CSS, & jQuery. Experience in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform would be preferred but not essential APG & CoA leader in the Australian fashion industry, APG & Co designs and manages Sportscraft, SABA and JAG. APG & Co values and expects authentic, courageous, driven team players. Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the Online team to design digital assets which are both functional and meet brand style guidelinesCreating digital assets (e.g. icons, banners, content tiles infographics) to be used on the our websitesCreating and editing content in HTML5 including Bootstrap and CSSWork with Online development team to implement website design enhancementsOwn and further develop the digital content asset library used by the Online teamWorking with Marketing, Product, VM and studio team to understand brand guidelines and seasonal campaign aestheticsEnsure all digital assets are optimised to minimise impact to page load performance and browser compatibilityYouExcellent understanding of HTML and CSSExcellent understanding of Adobe Photoshop/IllustratorTalent and flair for elegant graphical designExcellent client and internal communications (both written and verbal)Strong eye for detail, pixel-perfect design and excellent spellingAbility to work independently as well as a team playerExperience crafting prototypes, visual designs, and creative assetsAbility to validate design ideas through user testing, data analysis, and other forms of feedback.Obsession for creating a simple user experience, especially on mobile devicesAbility to take a brief and create multiple mock-upsOrganised, pro-active and always looking for fresh new concepts Where do I sign?This full-time role is based in our stunning head offices in Alexandria.
