The Role

  • Allocation of stock to stores in line with department plans and business strategy
  • Liaising with key external and internal stakeholders and leading the allocation team to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Assist Planner with in-season management of the department to achieve sales, profit, and stock budgets
  • Analyse product sales, inventory performance, and communicate areas of risks and opportunities to Planner
  • Flow line forecasting and management
  • Maintain delivery schedules to drive intake and allocation decisions
  • Ensure system integrity and information management for accurate reporting and analysis
  • Ensure models are set and maintained to assure that stock levels maximise product sell through
  • Communicate with team regarding any allocation or dispatch issues
  • Run replenishment twice weekly
  • Maintain all minimum stock templates for replenishment 
  • Process all markdowns in AP21 & upload onto intranet
  • Issue Consolidation Reports on styles when necessary
  • Conduct store visits to ensure an understanding of the customer
  • Work with store colleagues to optimise the stock packages in store

 You

  • Experience in allocation & replenishment systems considered advantageous
  • Strong financial and numerical skills with the ability to interpret and act on trends
  • A passion for analysing data and driving allocation decisions to maximise profit
  • Communicate effectively - verbally & written
  • Logical & a problem-solver
  • Strong organisational skills, & capable of working autonomously
  • Data driven with a high attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Faster learner of new systems/software
  • Passionate about retail
