Located at our Head Office in Waterloo. APG & Co has over 1800 employees representing 4 iconic Australian fashion brands with stores across Australia and New Zealand.The Accounts Payable Officer is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient processing of accounts payable operations including posting and monitoring expenditures, payments and ensuring suppliers are paid within established payment terms. Key responsibilities include; Invoices processed accurately and efficientlyInvoices to be paid within the payment termsAll invoices to be easily retrieved from filingAccurate and complete payment run ready by lunchtime on day of payment100% accuracy with master file maintenanceAccurate creditors reconciliations performed by the first Friday of every month for all major overseas suppliersReconciling items cleared in a timely mannerAll debit balances explainedAll queries cleared in a timely and courteous manner, escalating instances outside standard practiceAd hoc projects completed accurately within requested timeframeSkills & Experience1-3 years full function of accounts payable proceduresKnowledge of automated accounting systemsProficient in data entry and managementKnowledge of general accounting proceduresEffective organisational and prioritising skills with ability to meet deadlinesEffective written, verbal and listening communication skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyComputer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheet and e-mail programs at a highly proficient levelAbility to maintain confidentiality concerning financial & employee filesGood judgment with analytical and problem-solving skills APG & Co CultureThe culture at APG & Co believes in one team, being passionate, clear and simple.
