Buying & Planning Admin Assistant – JAG

As a Buying and Planning Admin Assistant, you will support both of our Planning and Buying Teams & work as a vital link between our Planning and Buying functions to ensure we have the right stock, in the right place at the right time.We're looking for a commercially savvy individual who will bring a curious and data-driven mind-set as well as a passion for all things Retail! APG & Co values working as a collective, thriving on change, and playing to win. We are built to last. The RoleADMINISTRATION and SYSTEMSMaintenance of AP21 and Range PlanRaising EANS, price tickets and communicating with stores on any product or pricing changesAssist in both of the Buying and Planning administration and management of processes and procedures to deliver ranges to stores with accurate product informationCommunicate and liaise with internal and external functions all relevant informationAssist Allocator where required for stock allocations, consolidations and replenishment across our Stores, using store grading and targets to maximize sales opportunitiesSet up and manage tactical activity and markdown in systemMaintain Product attributes and impeccable data integrityREPORTINGRun regular reports and work with Planning Team to interpret the analysis and actions for their department as a resultProvide support to planners on reporting and analysis on daily sales, weekly sales by store, end of month inventory and post season analysisUnderstand the characteristics of product and how to maximise sales through attribute reportingPRODUCTResponsible for sample management and trackerReview trade reactions, summarise and update on a weekly basis with the teamResponsible for comp shoppingRANGECreation of Buying Boards, line sheets and updating range plansLiaise with wider business functions on sample management for key meetings in the Buying Calendar and in the progress of the ranges to final store executionResponsible for raising POsOrder and chase PR samples and assist marketing with campaign imageryPull samples to be shot Online and Visual MerchandisingPRODUCTION & LOGISTICSManage up to date Production TrackerAssist weekly production meetings with the wider team to manage the progress of the product and ensure on-time delivery of the ranges. The Role

ADMINISTRATION and SYSTEMS

  • Maintenance of AP21 and Range Plan
  • Raising EANS, price tickets and communicating with stores on any product or pricing changes
  • Assist in both of the Buying and Planning administration and management of processes and procedures to deliver ranges to stores with accurate product information
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external functions all relevant information
  • Assist Allocator where required for stock allocations, consolidations and replenishment across our Stores, using store grading and targets to maximize sales opportunities
  • Set up and manage tactical activity and markdown in system
  • Maintain Product attributes and impeccable data integrity

REPORTING

  • Run regular reports and work with Planning Team to interpret the analysis and actions for their department as a result
  • Provide support to planners on reporting and analysis on daily sales, weekly sales by store, end of month inventory and post season analysis
  • Understand the characteristics of product and how to maximise sales through attribute reporting

PRODUCT

  • Responsible for sample management and tracker
  • Review trade reactions, summarise and update on a weekly basis with the team
  • Responsible for comp shopping

RANGE

  • Creation of Buying Boards, line sheets and updating range plans
  • Liaise with wider business functions on sample management for key meetings in the Buying Calendar and in the progress of the ranges to final store execution
  • Responsible for raising POs
  • Order and chase PR samples and assist marketing with campaign imagery
  • Pull samples to be shot Online and Visual Merchandising

PRODUCTION & LOGISTICS

  • Manage up to date Production Tracker
  • Assist weekly production meetings with the wider team to manage the progress of the product and ensure on-time delivery of the ranges. Escalate any production issues to that would effect on-time delivery of ranges to store.
  • Support Assistant Planner with Logistics Communications and Delivery Schedules.

 

 You

  • Experience working in a retail environment

  • Experience in and/or knowledge of a fashion retail Buying and/or Planning Department would be advantageous

  • Relevant qualification in Commerce, Business or Retail related is highly advantageous
  • Ability to manage and interpret data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective numerical, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (suite)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and take initiative
  • Loves all things Product and has an active interest in Fashion
