As a Junior Planner you will be required to use your commercial awareness to maximise Sales & GP $ through effective management of merchandise throughout the product lifecycle. Partnering with other stakeholders in the business to ensure stock is in the right place to capture demand, and ranges are optimised to exceed current forecasts, better meeting customer needs and organisational goals.APG & COA leader in the Australian fashion industry, APG & Co designs and manages Sportscraft, SABA and JAG. Key Responsibilities Presenting key finding along with trading proposals in weekly trade meetingManaging WSSI forecasting demonstrating commercial awareness of the marketplace and ensure merchandise plans are not in conflict with trading conditions.In conjunction with the Planning Manager develop initial product strategy by category for Sales/GP & OTB for Seasonal BudgetingCompleting Seasonal/Monthly SWOTS highlighting key take outs and actionable changes to ranges going forwardEffective management of current markdown stock and product reaching the end of its life cycleMaintaining line projections for Essential options, ensuring these options are maintained with a 95% In Stock rateReview replenishment volumes, managing stock levels to maximise salesCoach and mentor Allocators  You Previous experience as a Junior or Assistant Planner ready to take the next step in their career from within an Australian Fashion Retailer (or FMCG)Proficient in Planning System – Apparel21, Maple Lake advantageousCommunicates effectively and promptly, maintaining effective relationships with internal key stake holders within Retail Brand divisions I.e Finance, retail, product and eCommerce teamsContinuous improvement focuses and ability to identify new opportunitiesAbility to work under pressure in a fast pace environmentWorks well independently and collaborates effectively with fellow key stakeholdersStrong attention to detail Where do I sign?This full-time role is based in our stunning head offices in Alexandria.
