We have an amazing opportunity for a Product Developer to join our JAG Design team.This role reporting to Senior Designer will see the successful candidate being responsible for executing and delivering product from initial concept to instore, that meets the brands intent, APG & Co’s high-quality standard, target margin and strategic sustainability goals.The role of Product Developer will be across all product categories of Jag Men’s and Women’s wear and any brand extensions and collaborations.APG & CoA leader in the Australian fashion industry, APG & Co designs and manages Sportscraft, SABA and JAG. We are built to last.The RoleManage the sourcing and development in line with the brand vision and targets from start to endEnsure all product developed is delivered on time inline with brand critical pathWork closely with the wider business ensuring all product aligns with company standardsResponsible for managing and ensuring the % mix of low environmental impact materials are selected and used within the ranges developedWork closely with Senior Designer, on product ranges and initial costings ensuring collection presented is within financial targets, brand DNA and LIM goals.Working on initial costs with all vendors prior to range handover for sign offAttend weekly design and production WIP and updating key stakeholders on any changes to developmentAttend fit sessions with Senior Designer and Quality ManagerWork closely with Product team on seasonal forecasts for fabric booking and consolidation of fabrics and vendorsYouHas 5 years + of professional experience in similar roleIs experienced in dealing with offshore suppliers and factoriesStrong understanding of costing apparelHas a strong knowledge of the product cycle and product development timelinesHas an apparel background; design, development and/or Degree qualified in Design, Production, Textile or similarHas a strong understanding of Low Impact materials.Must be very organised and be able to multitaskBe able to meet and achieve deadlinesBe responsible with a make it happen attitudeClear and effective written and verbal communicationstrong interpersonal skills Where do I sign?This full-time role is based in our stunning head offices in Alexandria.
