As a member of the ecommerce design team you will assist in all stages of the design process: discovery, design, testing, and implementation, as well as help curate and maintain our newly developed design systems, assets, and components.You will have opportunities to take ownership of projects while making an immediate impact on our brand website(s) experience. APG & Co values working as a collective, thriving on change, and playing to win. We are built to last.The RoleResearch: Investigate UX best practices that are specifically applicable to the digital roadmap and current initiatives, and understanding user behaviour specificationsUser mapping: Creating experience maps and documenting user flows and user journeysIdeation: Working with internal stakeholders to collectively understand and define problems and propose solutions togetherPrototyping: Creating both simple wireframe designs that are easy to iterate as well as user-centric and intuitive high-fidelity prototypesUser Testing: Subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing and A/B experiments to refine solutions based on user feedback and data-driven insightsAsset Creation: Alongside the digital graphic designer produce end-state design assets that are immediately implementable across our mobile app and websiteCollaboration: Briefing and working closely with the development team and coordinating releases YouDiploma or higher qualification in relevant fieldSolid understanding of UX & Research fundamentalsExperience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user personas, user flows, process flows and site mapsStrong portfolio of work demonstrating thoughts and processes behind both web and mobile design solutionsExperience producing production ready designs and prototyping in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar design toolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated fundamental understanding of HTML/CSSWhere do I sign?This full-time role is based in our stunning head offices in Alexandria.
